RHOBH's Diana Jenkins Files Lawsuit to Reveal Identities of Bots Who Attacked Garcelle’s 14-Yr-Old Son, Claims "[Cowards]" Jeopardized Reputation by Blaming Her

Diana Jenkins has filed a lawsuit in hopes of uncovering the identities behind a group of bots who’ve been attacking Garcelle Beauvais‘ 14-year-old son, Jax Nilon, with harmful and racist commentary throughout the airing of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 12.

According to a press release sent to Reality Blurb on September 8, Diana is taking action on behalf of Garcelle and her son as she seeks not only to identify those behind the bot accounts, but also to hold accountable for their detrimental behavior, including their “offensive” and “threatening messages” to the child, and their fueling of a false narrative that it was she who paid for the “bots.”

“It is wrong to send racist and bullying messages to a fourteen-year-old boy,” Diana’s attorneys, Krista M. Enns and J. Erik Connolly from the law firm Benesch, Friedlander, Coplan & Aronoff LLP, stated in the lawsuit. “It is wrong to pretend that someone else was the person responsible for sending those messages. And it is wrong to mastermind this hateful campaign in anonymity. This action seeks to unmask and hold accountable the morally bankrupt person who has attacked a child and placed blame for their actions on Ms. Jenkins.”

In the lawsuit, which was also sent to Reality Blurb, the defendants are identified as John Doe.

As they pursue justice, Diana’s attorneys will be requesting subpoenas from Meta, the owner of Instagram, in an effort to obtain information that could lead them to the identities of those behind the bots.

The press release went on to note that because Diana has been at odds with Garcelle throughout RHOBH season 12, many bought into the idea that she could’ve been behind the bots and flooded her with threatening messages that damaged her reputation and business.

“Dozens, if not hundreds, of people have posted messages attacking Ms. Jenkins for an act that she never took,” Diana’s lawyers continued in the lawsuit. “This action is the only way Ms. Jenkins has to fight back against the anonymous coward who decided to put her reputation, livelihood and life in jeopardy.”

“Her lifetime of good deeds are being undermined by a false affiliation with a heinous act. Ms. Jenkins seeks to put an end to this conduct for herself, her family, and Ms. Beauvais’ son,” the lawsuit added. “Someone needs to stand up to bad people.”

Diana’s lawsuit comes just days after she donated $100,000 to widows and orphans of the 2018 Lion Air plane crash in Indonesia, who were represented in a lawsuit by Thomas Girardi but stiffed their $2 million in settlement payments.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 12 airs Wednesdays at 8/7c on Bravo.
