Naomi Ackie is giving fans a look at “the Whitney you will not at any point know about” in the impending Whitney Houston biopic, I Need to Stir things up around town floor with Somebody.

The Star Wars performer is embodying the late diva in the film, due out this December, and fans got a first gander at her portrayal of the fantastic vocalist when the essential trailer dropped on Thursday.

The trailer begins with Whitney’s starting points as Another Jersey outfit young woman, who steps before an audience for her mother, Cissy (Tamara Tunie), one night while astounding record chief Clive Davis (Stanley Tucci) is in the group. Besides, the rest is history…

The trailer gives a look at some popular Whitney looks and minutes, including her great times “How Should I Know” music video, the hot, “Yet generally a similar It’s alright” look and, clearly, her outstanding show of the Public Tune of dedication at Super Bowl XXV.

The biopic, which is facilitated by Harriet boss Kasi Lemmons and created by Bohemian Sythesis’ Anthony McCarten, in like manner stars Ashton Sanders as Bobby Brown, Nafessa Williams as Robyn Crawford, Clarke Peters as John Houston, and that is only the start.

Ackie consulted with ET about playing Houston last May, not long after her projecting was accounted for, and she attempted to ensure fans any place that she was “achieving the work” to make arrangements for the immense work.

“I will put forth a legit attempt since that woman – – it creeps me out the sum she means to me, the world, Ethnic minorities, African American ladies,” she said by then. “I will throw my start and end into guaranteeing she is tended to suitably.”

“I just have to recap her story. Besides, I think when I’m prepared to chip away at it down to that, I’ll have the choice to manage the strain,” Ackie added.

I Need to Stir things up around town floor with Somebody is set to convey exclusively in films on Dec. 21.
