Tom Sandoval Shares Where He Stands With Jax Taylor, Shares How Vanderpump Rules Season 10 Will be Different

Tom Sandoval wasn’t on good terms with Jax Taylor when Jax left the Vanderpump Rules cast after season eight. But where do they stand today?

After running into Jax at a Labor Day party with fellow castmates Lala Kent, Brittany CartwrightScheana Shay, Brock Davies, and Raquel Leviss, Sandoval offered an update on his relationship with Jax while teasing the upcoming 10th season, which he said will be “a little bit different” from season nine.

“I don’t hang out with him a ton, but I see him at The Abbey,” Sandoval told E! News of Jax on September 23. “I ran into him at a party on Labor Day. We talked and hung out. It was cool. It’s chill. We’re not super, super tight, but we’re cool. We’ll catch up.”

Although it is unclear if the new, “crazy season” of Pump Rules will address Sandoval’s up and down relationship with Jax, Sandoval noted that the two of them have had several pleasant encounters in recent months before noting what will be featured.

“[It’s] a little bit different of a feel this season,” he explained, noting that there was a “lull” in season nine due to filming restrictions related to COVID-19.

“It was really annoying,” Sandoval admitted. “But I feel that we’re back. We’re back to what people fell in love with our show. We’re back there. This is definitely a pretty crazy season.”

“I feel like we’ve made some changes even with production,” he continued. “I know from what I’ve heard from production, and also just in general with my experience with filming seasons, that this one is definitely going to be a really good one.”

In addition to Scheana’s wedding to Brock and Katie Maloney and Tom Schwartz‘s divorce, fans are expected to learn more about Schwartz’s potential romance with Raquel in the new season. As Pump Rules viewers may have heard, the couple allegedly hooked up in Mexico in August and have been spotted together a number of times since — all while staying mum about the nature of their relationship.

Vanderpump Rules season 10 is expected to return to Bravo sometime later this year or early next year. In the meantime, fans can catch up with Sandoval on Winter House season two, which premieres on October 13.
