According to the report, Mahsa Amini was a 22 years old lady on a visit with her family to the Iranian capital when police arrested her on Tuesday. The police unit is responsible for implementing the Islamic republic’s stringent dress code for ladies, which includes the compulsory warning of the headscarf in public. “Sadly, she passed and her body was taken to the medical examiner’s office,” Iranian state television said.
